Wayne Warner

Wayne Warner, a dedicated family man and respected professional in electric motor repair, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, in Elsmere, Kentucky. Born in Covington, Kentucky on April 12, 1950, Wayne lived a life characterized by kindness, simplicity, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

He brought a sense of care and reliability not just to his work, but also to his family. Wayne was married to Connie for an enduring 57 years, devoting himself to her care, especially in the weeks leading up to her passing just three weeks prior to his own. This profound devotion paints a picture of a man who prioritized love, compassion, and family bonds above all else.

Wayne is survived by his daughters, Karen (Ken) Sparks, Tammy (Wayne) Wagner, and Tina (Brian) Beach; his son, Michael (Shannon) Warner; numerous grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends who will miss his gentle spirit and unwavering support.

He found joy in simple pleasures, such as cheering for UK basketball and attending river dancing shows at the Aronoff. Wayne took great pride in being present for his family, enthusiastically supporting his children's and grandchildren's endeavors, from choir concerts to graduations. His legacy of kindness will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege to know him.

Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Jean Warner (nee Simms), his parents Fred Warner and Georgiana Warner (nee Crowder), and his sister, Linda Sharp. The love and memories shared with them will eternally linger in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held on February 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY, 41018. A graveside service will follow at Burlington Cemetery at 2:00 PM, 2175 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY, 41005, where Wayne will be laid to rest, surrounded by the memories and love of his family.
