Wilberto Saunders

Saunders, Wilberto 'Berto', age 56, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born in Jamaica Queens, New York on December 16, 1959 to the late Wilbur Saunders and Lola Lee. Berto had a strong will with a big heart. He enjoyed serving anyone around him, including his friends and family.

Berto developed a relationship with his wife, Renee, over their common obsession with music and movies. For Berto, his passion for karate films appealed to his macho side while his love for jazz fed his softer side.

Berto will be deeply missed by his beloved Wife of nearly 10 years, Vershauwn Renee Saunders (nee Scott); Sons, Artavious and Octavious Williams, Granddaughter, Jaden Williams, Nephew, Shameek Williams, Brothers, Tony Lee and Andre Saunders; Brother-in-law, Keenan Tate; and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be planned by the family at a later date.
