William A. Rasmussen, age 67 of Cincinnati passed away at Mercy Hospital of Mt. Airy on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:15 AM. He was born in Middletown, New York on January 19, 1945 the son of Peter Rasmussen and Alpharetta Teresa (Masters) Clark. William attended the St. Bernard Church of Taylor Creek and was employed as a dock supervisor for Givaudan Roure, Inc. He was married to Carol Anne Kolk on April 12, 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Anne Rasmussen of Cincinnati; four daughters, Lisa Marie Blatz and her husband Mark of Westtown, New York, Nancy Jo Caples and her husband David of Henderson, Tennessee, Denise Beth Vasher and her husband Matthew of Mesa, Arizona, and Jennifer Evelyn Rasmussen of Cincinnati; four siblings, Peter Rasmussen of Middletown, New York, Nancy Jones of New Hampton, New York, Robert Clark and his wife Barbara of Pembroke, Massachusetts, and Robert Rasmussen and his wife Ruth of Eldred, New York; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Raymond Rasmussen, Richard Velie, and Jack Velie; and two sisters, Lorraine Butler and Jane Brown.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
