William David Bramble

February 4, 1940 — April 23, 2020

William (Bill) David Bramble of Burlington KY entered into his heavenly home on Thursday April 23, 2020, after a valiant battle with cancer. He passed in his home, with his loving wife by his side. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Bill was born to the late Rev. Willie and Mamie Bramble in Northern KY on February 4, 1940. He went on to graduate from God's Bible School and continued his education at the University of Cincinnati. Bill proudly served our country as a Sergeant in the US Army for 3 years. He continued to live out his entire life within the great state of KY, working for over 20 years at Sears, followed by a successful 45-year career as an entrepreneur and owner of both Bramble Appraisals and Bill Bramble Realty. Bill was a highly respected real estate broker in the state of KY, as well as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in KY, OH, and IN. He was honored with the "Realtor of the Year" award in 1991 and was elected as the President of the KY State Realtors Association in 1994. He was a very successful businessman and greatly admired by his colleagues.

Bill loved and lived life to the fullest. He particularly enjoyed traveling and singing with the Chapel Keys Quartet for over ten years. His passion for people and travel allowed him to plan many trips for the local chapter of "Parents without Partners", which he led for many years. He continued living out his strong Christian faith, serving his Lord and others in his local church.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Sally Bramble; his sons William David Jr., Glenn Dion; his daughter Danielle Leah; as well as their mother Leona Bramble; his stepchildren and their spouses Sheryl and Wilmer Jones, Jeff and Karen Carroll; his nine grandchildren; his 1 great-granddaughter; and his sister, Marilyn Osborne and family. He is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Paul Bramble and his parents. Bill will be laid to rest at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown KY. Michael Denigan will officiate the service.

Public military services will start promptly at 11:00 AM, September 18, 2019 at Kentucky veterans Cemetery North 205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY 41097.
