Foster, William W. "Bill" age 87, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 21, 1935 to Robert G. Foster and Carrie M. Foster (nee Wells).
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Carrie M. Foster, and Father, Robert G. Foster. William is survived by his beloved Wife of 29 years, Janet R. Foster (nee Schrank); Sister, Barbara Foster; Sister-In-Laws, Carol (Patrick) Thomas and Margie (the late Jack) Townsley; many loving nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
Bill was proud to be a volunteer fireman for the Groesbeck Volunteer Fire Department. He also was a member of the Miles Greenwood Historical Fire Apparatus Society and the Colerain Historical Society. Bill was a collector of diecast firetrucks and automobiles. He also enjoyed building models, antique shopping, and tractor shows. He had a great personality, loved to talk, and was very knowledgeable about history. Bill treated everyone with kindness and loved his dog, Mickey.
In loving memory of Bill, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Cincinnati Chapter, 5211 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227 or the Alzheimer's Association, Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203-1742. Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Monday, July 11, 2022 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
