William Gerald Wright

WRIGHT, WILLIAM GERALD aka Jerry Wright was born on August 5, 1939 to Newton Wright and Gertrude Naomi Williams in Wheeling, West Virginia. During his childhood he attended Samuel Ach Jr. High School and Withrow High School.
During his earlier years, Jerry was a painter at the University of Cincinnati. After many years at UC, Jerry eventually started his own successful painting business. In his leisure time, Jerry enjoyed playing golf, cooking, and watching sports. In addition to these activities, his favorite was spending time with his beloved dog, Chaka.

Jerry was truly blessed, and loved by many. He was called home to be with the Lord on his 75th birthday, August 5th, 2014. Jerry leaves behind his loving wife Mary Wright & step children; 3 sisters, Valerie Wright, Ida Riley, Pat Pearson; 2 brothers, Newton Wright, Charles Wright (deceased); 6 children, Steve Wright, Theresa Little, William Wright, Dwayne Wright, Valerie Patrick, and Rachel Wright; 2 daughter-in-laws, Terri Wright and Diane Wright; 14 grandchildren, DaKisha, Shawn, William (Bud), Nicole, Tiffany, Dwayne, David, Candace, Brandon, Sydney, Angie, Steven, Stephanie, and Christopher; several great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives, and friends.
