He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Michael Jefferson, Laura Nunnally, and Carol Jefferson. William is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Dorothy Jefferson (nee Nelson); children, William Benjamin (Michele) Jefferson and Emily King; grandchildren, Cameron (Courtney) Jefferson, Noah Jefferson and Joshua Jefferson; siblings, Clarence (Judith) Jefferson, Carolyn (the late Charles) Beverly, Inez (the late Milton) Jeter, Herman Jefferson and Hermania Lewis; sister-in-law, Hazel Jefferson; brother-in-law, Calvin Nunnally; and a host of other family members and friends.
