JOHNSON, William age 86 of Colerain Township passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born in Fallbush Creek, Kentucky on July 22, 1927 the son of Herbert Lee and Louetta (Frye) Johnson. William was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #513. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and photography. William was married to Lucy Mae Garner for 65 years; they were wed on June 21, 1947 and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lucy Mae Johnson; three brothers, Arthur, Arnold, and Truman; one sister, Naomi Cooper. William is survived by his four children, Estel Johnson and his wife Paula of Piqua, Ohio, Larry Johnson and his wife Sharon of Franklin, Ohio, Louise and her husband James Tobergta of Cincinnati, and Patty and her husband Robert York of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren, Ray, Jamie, Eddie, Tracy Mae, Bobby, Sherry, and Julie; nine great-grandchildren, Jamie Rae, Christina, Willie, Larry James, Paul, Alayna Mae, Kali, Erik, and Zara; two great-great grandchildren, Brennen James, and Teeanah; one sister, Ilena Oaks; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
