Johnston, William A. "Bill" age 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was born in Tampa, Florida on February 5, 1946 to William J. and Dorothy E. Johnston (nee Davis).
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Thomas Johnston and Daniel "Jake" Johnston. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jo Johnston (nee Wind); daughters, Kari (Matthew) Solomon, Abby (Sam) Revis; granddaughter, Riley Solomon; grandson, Aaron Solomon; sister, Dorothy "Chooch" Finucan; and a host of other family members and friends.
Bill enjoyed documenting family history through photography. A passionate artist and gardener, he loved spending time with his grandkids and was known for tearing up the dance floor with his girls.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 8:30 am until the time of mass at 9:30 am at St. William Catholic Church, 4108 W. 8th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45205. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery - New. A celebration of life will be held, following inurnment, at St. William Catholic Church - Father Reardon Hall.
