William passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Drake / Vitas. He was born on December 13, 1915 in Newport, KY to Frank Meiers and Anna Elizabeth Meiers. He was an active member of the Greenhills American Legion Post.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna R. Hines of Mason, Oh.; Preceeded in death by late wife Ruth Meiers and daughter Beverly Tomes-Denlinger. Also survived by Grandchildren Randy Hines, Vicky Edmondson, Tamara Polly, Tim Tomes, Terry Tomes, Tiffany Nicholson, Tina Crotty, Tally Tomes and Tana Durham. Also, Fourteen Great Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Great Grandchildren, as well as, a host of family and friends.
Funeral service for William Edward Meiers, age 96 of Greenhills, will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM . will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Stephen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephens Cemetery Chapel; 1523 Alexandria Pike, Ft. Thomas, KY 41075.
