William Ostermeyer

William Ostermeyer age 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 4, 1943 to the late Raymond and Anna Ostermeyer (nee Meyer). 

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a "Sister," Pat Johnson. 

William is survived by his beloved Wife of 58 years, Roberta Anne "Bobbi" Ostermeyer (nee Prickett); Daughters, Carrie (Chris) McCoy and Molly (Jim) Evans, Grandchildren Will (Victoria Clark) Evans, Alex Evans, Natalie McCoy, Grant McCoy and Colin McCoy, "Sisters" Debby Neack, Rhonda McGill and Sandy Knuckles; and a host of other family members and friends.

Bill loved his family above all else, and enjoyed every opportunity to be with them. He loved to travel, especially to the beach. He loved parades and fireworks.

Bill was proud to serve in the US. Army as a 1st Lieutenant during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of Green Township VFW Post 10380 and was very involved with Wreaths Across America and Honor Flight Tri-State. He was unapologetically patriotic; he loved his country. He was a long-time member of Cheviot United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Cheviot United Methodist Church 3820 Westwood Northern Boulevard Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, with a visitation from 9:30am to 11:00am. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wreaths Across America through Green Twp. VFW Post 10380 or to Honor Flight Tri-State.
