William "Bill" Yauch

Yauch, William David age 73, of Green Township, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 4, 1943 to the late Andrew and Marguerite Yauch (nee Wuennemann). On August 24, 1961 he married Jane Gill. He was a baseball coach for Westwood Knothole Association for 32 years, in which he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Bill enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, playing the lottery and drinking coffee. He enjoyed watching television, especially westerns and sports with AJ (his favorite, he says).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Bradley Miller; and his granddaughter, Molly Yauch. William is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jane E. Yauch (nee Gill); his children, Dave (Cindy) Yauch, Diana (Joe) Miller, Dan (Jill) Yauch, Mary (John) Roebel, Dennis Yauch, and AJ (Cathryn) Yauch; his grandchildren, Justine (Ben) Johnson, Caitlin, Ben, Stephanie (Brian) Booker, Kimberly (Bryan) Siebenaller, Tiffany (Jon) Berter, Coleman (Sydney Caswell) Yauch, Ashley, William, Jacob, Sam, Heather (Matt More) Korte, Carson, and one on the way, Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jace, Kaiden, Mason, Kayleigh, Brayden, Brynleigh, Kamden, Brantley, Kadynce, Jaxen, Miller, and Ridge; his sister, Pat Garner; and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Ln. Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
