Zachary Wirmel

February 10, 1990 — August 6, 2020

Zachary Wirmel, 30, 0f Goshen, Ohio, passed away suddenly on August 6th, 2020. He was born February 10th, 1990, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Regina Wirmel.

He attended Goshen High School, where truly enjoyed playing football as a center and various positions for offense and defense for the Goshen Warriors.
In 2005, Zachary attended a mission trip to Honduras with St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, where he aided in the construction of schools for the underprivedged. It was one of the highlights of his childhood.

Zach loved old cars, new cars, fast cars and just about any anything on wheels. He was taught the love of cars from his Papah, as they spent many weekends going to car shows, or just riding on the back of his Papah's custom Harley Sportster. But his favorite excursion was always going to Disney with his "best buddy".

Zach never met a stranger, and had an acquaintance from every corner of Cincinnati. He loved to laugh and cut up and just hang with friends. His sarcastic humor and goofy grin was infectious. With a huge heart of gold, he was a best friend to many, many people.

In 1995, Mike Myers came into Zach's life when he was just 5 years old. Mike formally became his stepdad in 2000. As an even bigger surprise, Zach became a big brother to Danielle, born in 2001 and Mika in 2002. His sisters and his family were his heart. He loved to play jokes and rough house with them, as well as his favorite Pitbull companion, "Baby D". - Family dinners were common place at the Myers house, especially when his mom made his favorite Black Forest Cake! Then after a meal fit for a king, he was off to hang out back with his Uncle Ricky; where they would laugh, joke, play video games, and talk for hours on end.

The Masons and Demolay were a notable and influencial part of Zachary's life, where he was a Past Master Counselor of Ivanhoe Chapter, Order of the Demolay, an 11 year member of the Cincinnati/Lafayette #483 Masonic Lodge and Valley of Cincinnati 32nd degree Scottish Rite.

Zach was also a life long member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church on Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, OH, where he served as an altar boy.

Zachary is survived by his precious daughter Makenah, beloved son of Regina Myers (nee Wirmel), stepson of Michael Myers, beloved grandson of Richard Wirmel, brother of Danielle and Mika Myers, nephew of Marielen and John Hastings, nephew of Richard Jr. and Sarah Wirmel, beloved nephew of Jeffery, Karl and John Paul Rose, his Pitbull companion, "Baby D", as well as many WONDERFUL and amazing friends.
