Zenobia Ritter Mitchell

Zenobia M. Ritter Mitchell, age 92, of Mount Healthy, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was born in Irmo, South Carolina on March 18, 1930 to the late Arthur and Gussie Mills (nee Bowman).

She is survived by her children, Reginald, Abdul - Rahman "Ronald" Ritter, and Uyvonne Ritter. Loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Carl Mills and sister, Hester Berry.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Arthur Mills, Mildred Bryant, Wynella Wilson, Margaret Mills, Alfred Mills, Rudolph Mills, Norma J. Mills and Calvin Mills.

Zenobia taught School at Cincinnati Public Schools for 40 years and spent 4 years with the Department of Defense as an International Teacher from 1989 to 1994, in Germany. Zenobia enjoyed her time working in the Cincinnati Court System helping Foster Children. "One reading teacher is greater than a thousand warriors."

Her faith meant a lot to her, and she always followed the Episcopalian belief.
